Tracking server

Dear creator,

Your software really works! I wasn't expecting much at the beginning, but after installation, everything just works as described. I downloaded your product of getjar.com and installed it on a Nokia 6131 S40 phone. I see many GPS related apps in getjar.com lately, but your product is certainly unique and covers almost all my needs. It tracks, it logs, it sends SMS, and it can potentially upload logged data into a server. My opinion is that your product can be potentially used as a vehicle tracker when the http upload function works.

Thanks for creating such a useful app.

P.S. Any idea which http server can be used to upload data for now? Or how do I configure this app to upload to whererya.com or qcontinuum.org??

Tracking system

Just for those who did not know, the Tracetec chip or device is not a Satelite Tracking system but works on transmitters and responders throughtout the country.....

yes, navigami can be used for vehicle or person tracking. server functionality on navigami server is not implemented yet but you can change the url and send data to your own server. is a simple http post request. and is better to have your own server if you need more security.

I plan the serverside functionality with map support and you will be able to track you and your friends.

support for other tracking sites is possible if I get data format description for them.

Is it possible for navigami to send gps information to gpsgate.com ?

not yet, but it is no problem to use your own server to translate the sended data to another format and send to GpsGate.
do you use gpsgate? is it free? it looks good.

Yes I use gpsgate and it is free. The only problem I have with it is getting my phone to work with it. I seem to be able to get my phone to work with navigami. I also like what I see in navigami that is why the server would add users to naviami.

can navigami get data from server and draw on map? i.e. party members, poi? can it post poi to server?

track data

tracking is not implemented yet on the server but you can use your own server. simply change the url in settings for send position.

to make my point clear, I want to build something like this (see images)
