NMEA Parser bug revisited ?

Thank you for the version upgrade that got my GPS/phone combination working which you reported as a NMEA Parser bug. In general, it has worked fine. :)

But now, I am reporting a strange bug: the other day when I went further east than usual, past 1 degree West into a location which was 0 degrees 59.xxx W , Navigami again failed to update my position properly, just like it did before v1.02. Green satellite display, but no update of position. As soon as I drove back west to 1 degree 00.xxx West it started to work again. (more..)

Please can you review your fix to the NMEA parser bug and check how you deal with coordinates with 0 degrees west (or 0 degrees East I suppose, I have not checked)

I cannot supply you with relevant NMEA sentence output without putting my computer in the car and driving east again, but I hope you can simulate this.

Thank you

And many thanks for a fantastic product - now it has Geocaching format co-ords it's really useful to me. Maps are also OK, but I have found that the phone (motorola L6) is so slow with maps turned on that my position is only updated every 10 or 15 seconds. (Or perhaps the java machine on it is particularly slow.)

Is there some NMEA ouptut

Is there some NMEA ouptut from your receiver available?

NMEA Bug - output available

Hi there

Visited London this weekend and was able to borrow a PC.
Here is the output from my receiver at a location somewhere near
N 51 38.146579 W 00 06.193562
i.e. when West is 0 degrees and 6.193562 Minutes West.
Note the number of leading zeroes.
The bug is still evident at that location - that is, I get 6 or more green sat fixes, but no position display.
Very grateful if you can get this fixed - glad to see you have a payPal account now.

Martin
