CANNOT LOAD MAPS
I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PROGRAME ON TO MY SONY ERICSSON W810I AND I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE TWO FILES TO MY COMPUTER IN ORDER TO GET MAPS VIA BLUETOOTH. I AM USING WINDOWS XP I HAVE TRIED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING TO GET THESE MAPS ON MY PHONE AND CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE WEBSITE CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!

maps of utrecht- netherlands
It seems i can download a very rough map of the Netherlands, which reappears when i remove all maps and try to download new ones. Then it says 'cannot download map: null'>>what am i doing wrong?

HI, NO I HAVEN'T GOT GPRS SETUP ON MY PHONE THE ONLY WAY I HAVE IS BLUETOOTH. I HAVE RXTX.DLL AND COMPROXY FILES ON MY COMPUTER BUT CANT DO ANYTHING ELSE. I JUST NEED SIMPLER INSTRUCTIONS ON GETTING MAPS FROM PC TO PHONE VIA BLUETOOTH PLEASE

do you have java installed on your pc? can you start the serialproxy tool? do you see any serial ports there?

OK YEAH I GOT JAVA ON MY COMPUTER AND YES I MANAGED TO GET THE SERIAL PROXY TOOL OPEN CANT GO ANY FURTHER WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP PLEASE
next
set the com port for bt (there are two, in and out) and start it.
go to in navigami > main menu > settings > network
set the proxy (your bt/usb adapter)
save settings
go to navigami > main menu > maps > manage maps and try to download maps over bt
