Maps

Hi

Just can't get any maps, or info.
The only maps I can download are way to large to be useable!
Just searching for The Netherlands.
Can you help me out, here?

Map data

There are only first 8 zoom levels available. Next levels and more details will come. But there are not streets or house numbers. Navigami is a free noncommercial app and uses free data only.

extension

But, under wich extension do I download them?
Oh, I can't use my phone to connect to internet!
I only can download file with PC and then put them in the phone.

SerialProxy

You can use the utility SerialProxy and download maps over bluetooth.

What do set as COM?
What to name HOST?
What to set as PORT?
What do I need to change in the phone?

Serial Proxy

COM: your incomming bluetooth connection (there are two new com ports on your pc, in and out, use in)
HOST/PORT: your http proxy settings or leave blank if you are not connected through http proxy

PHONE: go to Main Menu > Settings > Network. Set Proxy (youtr PC) and connect. Now you are connected to your pc and you can download maps.

proxy

proxy can be used if you don't want to pay for gprs connection and you want to download maps using your pc connected to the internet.
