problem with maps

I'm having a prolem with the maps. The application doesn't show any maps. What am I doing wrong?
Is there an option I missed or something?
Please help me.

You must download maps from internet or over bluetooth. Go Main Menu > Maps > Manage Maps and use Download Command or set Autoload On. Current Map Tile will be downloaded. Then move or change zoom and download needed map if autoload is off.

It gives me an error,

It gives me an error, 'couldn't reach map from socket'. This was when I used gprs, because the SerialProxy doesn't work (why?). Is this because I do not have connected my bluetooth gps device yet?

Is the internet connection working in other java apps? Opera mini?

Serial proxy doesn'r require to be connected to the gps device. Is your bluetooth usb key visible for navigami? Are you using the rights serial port? Usualy there are two new serial for the bt device in your PC (Windows XP). You must use the incomming one. The outgoing is used to connect to the GPS for example.
