error with serialproxy.jar

excused for my English. I'm successful to make to communicate the program "NAVIGAMI" with the PC but when I go to download the map they give me the following error: "cant't load map:I/O operation timeout".
I have not setting Host and Port because I do not know what to put to us.

cant't load map:I/O operation timeout

I also have the same problem. Connection between the phone and the PC is OK
(I am using Nokia 6230i). But as soon as I try to download any map, I am
getting this error: "cant't load map:I/O operation timeout"
I am not using any proxy for the internet connection, it is a direct connection
(Cable Internet), so fields in serial proxy like HOST and PORT are left blank.
I also dont know what else I should do to make it work.

com port

Do you use the right com port? There are two for the BT adapter, in and out. Try the second one.

proxy

If your pc is connected to the internet via http proxy you must fill it in the host and port textbox. You can find it in your browser settings.

ghm. sorry to bother you.

ghm. sorry to bother you. spent few hours to try run serialrpoxy without any luck.
step by step:
1. found for my bt adapter on notebook that it requires serial port in "local services" (not "Client applications"). Found that local services use com4.
2. copied dll into java\bin folder (c:\java\java.jdk.1.6\jdk\bin).
3. started jar set connect to com4

4. run navigami, went to settings -> network -> set proxy device to laptop through bluetooth. enable proxy. went level up (settings) back again to network - > proxy is disabled, remote device is still laptop.
5. when try to download map it says: proxy and http disabled, enable http?

where did i go wrong?

p.s.: my pc connected directly to broadband, no (inet) proxy used!
p.p.s.: tried com10 from custom apps - the same result.

did you connect to the proxy? main menu > settings > network
