GPS conected, no positioning, N6288
Hi,
Your soft looks amazing,but its not workin on my N6288 with GPS holux M-1000.
After installation, soft work fine(i can download map, view map, set up everything) then i configured GPS and I can check satellites and it looks ok (8-10 sat in sight), but position is still N0.000 S0.000 speed 0 alt 0.
Please help

Just to report that version 1.02 now runs OK for me - well at least the position screen now updates OK with correct Lat/Long - not tested all maps etc yet

I just thought it may help: i have phone in 3 "three" network in UK and phone has locked function to let application to write and read data in memory, it is only apply if application wants for instance export or import file, but it shouldn't cause problem with coordinatees.

what dou you see in satellites screen in the left up corner? 2D, 3D or "-" ?
are some satellites green? green means these are used.

In left up corner there is 3D.
5-8 satellites are green. Green bars are up to cirles. In main screen where is clock in up right corner, in left up corner is aerial symbol and flashing symbol of satellite (i think).
It looks like reception is ok, but app cant read coordinates (i dont know how does it work but i say how it looks ;) ).
PS. Other GPS app like Nav4all, Amaze, vlkGPS works without any problem.
Thx in advance for dealin with my problem, and i want to say that i spent 3 hours yesterday to try run (instaling deleting, pairing gps with mobil ...) and nothing changed) :(
But while that time i find and check all functionns and Your app look incredible (tacking, downlaodable map!, routes everyting in one app) :)

thank you for your words about navigami ;o)
it looks good. signal is ok, satellites are ok.
can you test it on some other phone or with other gps receiver?
do you have some gps application on your pc? could you send me some raw nmea data received from your gps? it is a simple serial port communication, you can use any application or a prompt command (but you need a bluetooth usb key).
I think, "three" network is ok ;o)

Just to report almost exactly the same issue:
Great program!
but
position etc not updating from N0.00 E0.00 even though I have 5-8 sats green with various good signals and a 3D fix.
Precision screen shows 3 reasonable values for HDOP, VDOP etc (although they don't update in real time - by design ?)

My copy downloaded from getjar - I mention this in case there is a variation between that and your latest version
PC bluetooth adapter is at home, so I may be able to send sample NMEA sentences at the other end of the weekend.
GPS/J runs OK - but it is no good for me because the font used is too large to display Lat/long to enough precision, so I would rather use navigami. please.

Sample NMEA Sentences from my BT GPS
My BT GPS is putting out these 5 NMEA sentences, in the order given approx once a second. To my untrained eye these seem to be including my current location
5145.475363,N,00112.845059,W
=
N51,45.475363, W 1,12.845059
both in the GPGGA sentence and the GPRMC sentence

position not showing up
I am using BT-338 receiver with a Nokia 6085, works well, nice app. but I have the same problem with the longitude on the position listing page, shows as N 90. Output from the receiver displays correctly with other programs.
Download jad file...
Download jad file from the site of your mobile and install it according to the instruction provided by them. You can easily solve it. But if that doesn't work then just try ccie, ccna or cwna...
