Hi,
navigami in my Siemens S65 finds the GPS module, but when I check in Satellites the message says "Not connected".
Seems to me it is not a problem of the application, nevertheless Ill be gratefull for any hints what to check etc.
I'm trying with Adapt AD800.
When I search the BT devices from the phone menu, and then try to connect to AD800, they are successfully paired (after entering the proper code).
When I search then the BT devices from navigami, the situation is as it is described above. I.e. found but no connection to satellites. Also the blue LED on the modul should start blinking, but it does not.
That is the point. It does not.
That is why I wrote that I suppose it is not a problem of navigami...
Ill try with another GPS module, anyway interesting problem, isn't it?
Any idea?
this module should be compatible. do you use nmea output format? don't use sirf binary. is there some software where you can setup your module or check the output?
Unfortunately I do not have such a software.
According to the product specification:
1. Connection Bluetooth 1.2 serial port profile (SSP)
2. Protocol Default -- NMEA 0183 format with
command set (GPGGA, GPGSA, GPGSV, GPVTG, GPRMC )
3. Baud rate 9600
I will try to check, do not have right now the chance to connect the GPS module to the PC.
But, the GPS module belongs to my friend and with his Nokia N95 it works fine.
Hi, just FYI, it did not work out with this GPS module Adapt AD800. Neither was I successful with Nokia LD-3W.
Just recently I found a GPS module that can maintain stable BT connection with my Siemens S65. It is B-speech GPS 16C.
Thanks for your help.
